Locating the Key Module and Preparing the Ruin
Before attempting to unlock the door, Aloy must retrieve the Key Module hidden within the ruined building. Players need to locate the nearby railcar and maneuver it along the tracks to reach higher yellow climbing ledges. Position the cart to bridge the gap across the elevated tightrope, allowing access to the secluded balcony where the key is stored.
Once the Key Module is in your inventory, head toward the locked door terminal located inside the main compound. Inserting the key is only the first step, as the console immediately prompts for a four-digit passcode.
Deciphering the Restless Weald Door Code
Finding the passcode involves examining the outer structure of the ruins for historical markings. A scanned datapoint inside the building hints that the year the facility was established serves as the key. Inspecting the exterior wall reveals numbers painted on the side, which initially appear to read as 1623.
A closer look reveals that the second digit has fallen out of alignment and is actually upside down. Reversing the inverted six reveals it to be a nine, establishing the true code as 1923. Entering 1923 into the terminal unlocks the door, allowing Aloy to proceed deeper into the structure.
Claiming the Relic Ruin Ornament
Passing through the unlocked door leads to a zipline that carries Aloy into a sealed room containing a wall blocked by Firegleam. Use the Igniter tool to detonate the Firegleam and create a shortcut back to the main track area.
Return to the railcar, pull the track lever to switch its path, and push the cart through the newly opened wall. Climb onto the railcar inside the room to reach the elevated ledge holding the Restless Weald Ornament.
